This event brings together stage 6 science teachers to connect in discussion and collaborative learning with the intent of helping participants:
- Better understand the various informal, formal, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies for Stage 6
- Develop skills in analysing student assessment data and appropriately evaluating a student’s understanding of the subject and content
- Develop skills for interventions and modifying teaching practice in response to student assessment data
- Increase knowledge of different ways to manage and assess depth studies
