Our team of presenters offer a range of professional learning opportunities for primary teachers throughout the year based on the NSW Education Standards Authority K - 6 syllabus. We support teachers in building their skills, knowledge and classroom confidence in teaching primary science. The new primary curriculum offers opportunities to learn physics in the context of digital systems and technologies. Join us to explore how the key physics ideas of energy and force develop across the stages and how we can use programmable robots, such as micro-bits to teach them.

Completing Primary Teachers Network will contribute 1.5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 6.3.2, from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW. Science Teachers Association of NSW Inc (STANSW) is endorsed to provide the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient Teacher level.
