Online Professional Learning Program

The Science Teachers Association NSW is embarking on the development of a series of online on-demand professional learning courses for Science Teachers and we invite you to submit an EOI via this form here,  if you are interested in being part of one of our writing teams. 

The program has been developed having considered the needs of science teachers across the year with course content varied between pedagogy, school and teacher administration, assessment and science specific content.   

This project is being led by Jim Sturgiss as our Online Professional Learning Program Manager who will oversee the development of the course and its online delivery via Openlearning, working with the writing team for each course.

As part of the writing team, we will be asking that you work with us to develop course content. It is estimated this will take up to 10 hours of your time across 4 - 6 weeks. These hours can be logged as your Elective PD and as a thanks we will be offering you access to a number of complimentary courses.
