This course is online and on-demand and can be completed in your own time. Course will open for Semester 2 and close on 14 December 2015.


This is a two hour BOSTES accredited course.

This course is suitable for teachers of Stage 6  Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The course has been designed by experienced Physics, Chemistry and Biology HSC teachers to provide you with a sampling of an authentic marking experience.

While this course will not be a comprehensive analysis of the HSC, you will find out the strengths and weakness of the candidature for selected questions.

Throughout the course you will mark a range of scripts using HSC marking guidelines.

Completing the STANSW SSSME Course will contribute 2 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing  5.3.2, 5.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
